Genevieve Sky has loved astrology from the time that she was a little girl. From since she can remember she has given readings to everyone that she could.

She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2009 with her BA in English with a Concentration in Film Studies and obtained an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College in 2016. Since 2016, she deepens her astrology practice under the tutelage of Helga Scow Williams, an astrologer of 50 years.

In 2017, Genevieve formed The Pigeon's Heart to host her astrology practice and love of reflective, imaginative, intuitive, and sometimes nonsensical exploration through words.

Genevieve lived between Ojai, California, New York City, Los Angeles, and the Foothills of the Himalayas, India for many years. In early 2020, she moved to an isolated beach in the Far North New Zealand where she found herself at the start of the pandemic. From there, she holds astrological consultations with clients around the world. Her approach is inspired by a life-long study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism, the body, nature, imagination, sound, and more recently, the Kererū or New Zealand Wood Pigeon. She is also working on an MA in Creative Writing in Scriptwriting at Auckland University of Technology, singing and piano classes, and learning to surf.

She aspires to awaken insight, direction, humor, and magic through astrological consultations and writing at The Pigeon’s Heart.
