About Genevieve Sky
“Pigeons are connected with the soft aspect of the human heart.”
Genevieve Sky practices astrology as a map to our most sacred selves, relationships, and embodiment.
Drawn to astrology since childhood, she has come to recognize it as her work. The night sky at the moment of birth holds infinite messages and wisdom—we only have to look. She is moved that, across cultures, people have always turned to the stars for insight and story—reflecting our deepest questions and truths.
Through The Pigeon’s Heart, Genevieve hopes astrology can help us to see more clearly—held with loving-kindness and a sense of humor.
She has studied and practiced astrology for over twenty years, and since 2015 has deepened her work under the guidance of Helga Scow Williams.
The Pigeon’s Heart, first shared in 2017, began as a space for evocative imagery and intuitive astrological writing. In 2026, Genevieve is developing new offerings through this platform and looks forward to sharing them later this year.
Originally from Ojai, California, she is now based between Ojai, Auckland, and the Far North of New Zealand, working with clients around the world. Her approach is informed by a lifelong engagement with Tibetan Buddhism, the body, nature, space, and sound.
Alongside her astrological work, Genevieve is a doctoral candidate in Drama and Creative Practice at the University of Auckland, where her research explores Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s Mudra Space Awareness theatre training in dialogue with writing and performance. She brings this inquiry into her sessions, holding space for what is emergent and authentically present.
She holds a BA in English (Film Studies) from Barnard College, an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Master’s in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from Auckland University of Technology.
