Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn, July 16th, 2:38 PM PDT

Astrology is pointing out a collective transformation and reckoning. The Full Moon tells us we cannot hide, what we repress, persists. If you stand in the right light and shade, you can tend to yourself and call on grace as we face this somewhat confrontational Lunar Eclipse. Find rest and groom.
.
We are confronting that which is held in our hearts. Venus in opposition to Saturn and the South Node is an active lighthouse calling us to check in with our capacity to open to love, to be intimate. Whether you are in a relationship or not, this is a chance to touch in around rougher edges. She calls us to imbue our lives with Yin energy and beauty, to give and receive sweet nourishment. If we allow our hearts to break, we will reap rewards of tenderness, fertility, and spirit. Tend to those close to you, but mostly, tend to any packed sand around the heart. Where can you show up even more?
.
Descend into shadows to give voice to outrage, grief, and feminine vision. Where, too, is your inner authority and compass? We can rely on our basic intelligence and natural wisdom as tides shift. What might it mean to merge the structure of our lives with more soulful feeling? Be tender.
.
Let skepticism surface and while you may be inclined to call bs on whatever crosses your path. Use that capacity for discernment to bring consciousness to where you’re callous, defensive, or withdrawn - and enjoy the humor and understanding it affords you.
.
Our vulnerability and shadows connect us with others, and are the gifts that bear wisdom and compassion in our lives. Let this eclipse portal come to some fruition; so much is at play! We can make aspirations, be gentle, and patient. Many speak of the soul growth and grounding that is possible now. I too feel an invitation to mature more deeply into life, responsibility, and a felt-sense love for self and other. What are you contemplating? Compassion and blessing is present in us. Aloneness too, might show us friendlier and friendlier passion.

Full Moon in Sagittarius, June 17th, 1:31 AM + Neptune retrograde & Summer Solstice

We are remaking the world, we can reestablish our perspective and approach to building our lives and communities. Listen, to the movement of imagination, through the portal of an open heart. No pain is too much once we remember to expand from its deep teachings. I suppose I run the very risk of this Full Moon in my suggestion here, that risk is that we lose our ground in high mindedness and forget what is essential to ground and sustain us.
.
The imagination and vision proclaimed by this Moon and the upcoming Summer Solstice require action in the space of uncertainty, personal authority, and trust. Our work is cut out for us with Saturn’s nearness to the South Node, while we are called to mother and nurture our lives, vision, families, spirit, (and all beings ;)).
.
We can remake to the extent that we participate in imagining and choice. Long held patterns can be recognized and seen through. With Neptune’s retrograde, we need heed silence, trust, and the whispers of love. Understand that we may not know which direction the next steps will arise from, but a subtle love flows, nourishing that which is beyond our grasp. This can inform our choices. In other words, an unconditional gentleness can guide and expand our consciousness.
.
So far I am leaning into a great potential of this Moon, but remember deceit, dogmatism, bloated and blind spiritual arrogance are also distinct possibilities. While we imagine we might also observe our cultural/political/spiritual patterns, biases, arrogance and bi-passing. We can examine our beliefs and escape routes. Sagittarius loves to have a belief and while this can inspire a lifetime, it is transcendent knowledge that ultimately nourishes spirit and wisdom, I suspect. While we stand for what we believe, we might also humble to a less dogmatic, more mutable, kind of knowing. We can celebrate a gentle curiosity, with sensitivity to spirit and intuition, this Full Moon and Summer Solstice.

Full Moon in Scorpio, May 18th, 2:12 pm PDT

While we meet the depths of our unconscious, may our wings of bliss-heart-body-light emanate. As we feel into patterns around power, feeling, our lower chakras, may no pain be left unturned. Uranus and Venus lift and accelerate our spirit, allowing us to draw charge and rejuvenation from our plunge into what is beneath the surface this Scorpio Full Moon. Capricorn is pressing we take action, responsibility, and maintain integrity in determining our boundaries and choices. What can we leave behind at this point? Our personal and societal goals are undergoing evaluation and major turning points through mid-January.
.
Today, Venus is alive with light energy and we can experience letting go, fresh start, renewed commitments, and radical heart-centered insights. As it is also Wesak, a celebration of the Buddha’s birth, we might be encouraged by the Buddha’s message of a full blown wisdom intrinsic to our humanity — that can crack like the light of dawn at any moment. Scorpio celebrates the razor sharp edge of impermanence as well as our instinctual selves. We can listen and respect what emerges from our shadows, while staying tethered to responsibility, ground, nature, love, our bodies, and sense of synchronization in ordinary experiences.
.
Transcendent and serene sensual love accompany this Scorpio plunge, giving great power to our hearts and prayers. Make aspirations, practice, feel, release. The Scorpio-Taurus axis brings us into connection with our interconnectedness, sacred dimensions of experience, and quite simply, our passionate embrace of this world’s complexity— including outrage, waves, grief, power, cement, paint, touch, compassion, bodies, rich, black, gold, surf, sound, tentacles etc.
